Engineering a High-Capacity Secondary Fluid Network
Project Overview
Delivering Precision-Engineered Liquid Cooling Infrastructure
This is a high-capacity, Tier IV Data Centre project designed to support mission-critical infrastructure with a cooling capacity of 28.8 MW across approximately 86,500 sq. ft.
SFN Solutions’ scope encompasses the complete Secondary Fluid Network (SFN) for Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs), covering approximately 2.5 km of piping, associated piping accessories and on-site execution.
The project involves detailed engineering coordination, LOD 400 Building Information Modelling (BIM), multidisciplinary clash detection and collaborative project coordination through Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
Through integrated engineering, BIM-led coordination and precise execution, the project focuses on developing a reliable and well-coordinated secondary cooling distribution infrastructure.

Our Scope of Work
Complete Secondary Fluid Network Engineering & Execution
SFN Solutions is responsible for the secondary fluid distribution infrastructure supporting the CDU cooling system.
Our project scope includes:
01. Secondary Fluid Network Infrastructure
Engineering and implementation of the secondary fluid network connecting the CDU cooling infrastructure through a coordinated piping distribution system.
02. Piping & Accessories
Approximately 2.5 km of piping, including associated piping accessories required for the secondary coolant distribution network.
03. On-Site Execution
On-site execution of the secondary fluid network, ensuring coordinated installation and integration with the overall data centre infrastructure.
04. BIM Modelling & Coordination
LOD 400 BIM modelling to support detailed engineering, spatial coordination and installation planning.
05. Multidisciplinary Clash Detection
Comprehensive clash detection to identify and resolve potential conflicts between the secondary fluid network and other building services.
06. Digital Project Collaboration
Utilization of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) for collaborative project coordination, model sharing, and multidisciplinary integration.
