Job Summary

PRASA is looking for a highly experienced Project Head – Electrical to lead mission-critical Data Center projects. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for electrical systems execution including HT/LT infrastructure, UPS, DG, and critical power systems ensuring uptime, reliability, and compliance with global standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead execution of Data Center electrical infrastructure projects from design review to commissioning
• Manage HT/LT systems, transformers, UPS, DG, bus ducts, and critical power distribution
• Ensure 99.99% uptime standards and redundancy (Tier II / III / IV compliance)
• Coordinate with clients, OEMs, consultants, and cross-functional teams
• Drive project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning (ITC) activities
• Ensure compliance with data center standards, safety norms, and statutory regulations
• Manage vendors, contractors, and procurement activities
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure timely mitigation
• Lead and mentor site teams for high-performance delivery

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in Data Center electrical systems
• Knowledge of Tier Standards (Uptime Institute), redundancy design (N+1, 2N)
• Experience in mission-critical environments
• Leadership and multi-site project management
• Vendor & stakeholder management
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
• Additional certifications in Project Management / Data Center (preferred)

Experience

• 12–18 years in electrical project execution
• Minimum 5+ years in Data Center projects
• Experience handling large-scale critical infrastructure projects

• On-time project delivery within approved budget
• Zero critical failures during commissioning
• Compliance with Tier standards and client specifications
• High client satisfaction and audit readiness
• Strong team performance and safety compliance

Job Summary

PRASA is seeking an experienced Project Head – HVAC to lead the execution of mission-critical Data Center cooling systems. The role involves managing complete HVAC infrastructure including precision cooling, chilled water systems, and ensuring optimal thermal performance, redundancy, and energy efficiency in line with global data center standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of Data Center HVAC systems from design validation to commissioning
• Manage precision cooling systems (CRAC/CRAH), chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and piping networks
• Ensure compliance with ASHRAE guidelines and Data Center Tier standards (Tier II / III / IV)
• Drive cooling efficiency, airflow management, and temperature control strategies
• Oversee installation, testing & commissioning (ITC) of HVAC systems
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, OEMs, and cross-functional teams
• Manage project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and cost optimization
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and statutory standards
• Lead vendor and contractor management
• Identify risks and implement mitigation plans
• Guide team on best practices for energy-efficient cooling systems

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in Data Center HVAC systems
• Knowledge of cooling load calculations, airflow design, and redundancy (N+1, 2N)
• Familiarity with ASHRAE standards and green building practices
• Experience in mission-critical environments
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability

Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (HVAC specialization preferred)
• Certification in HVAC / Data Center / Project Management (preferred)

Experience

• 12–18 years in HVAC project execution
• Minimum 5+ years in Data Center projects
• Experience handling large-scale cooling infrastructure projects

Key Deliverables (KRAs)

• Timely delivery of HVAC systems within budget
• Achieving desired temperature & humidity control as per standards
• High system reliability and uptime
• Compliance with ASHRAE and client specifications
• Zero major safety incidents
