The PRASA Solution:
PRASA was awarded the contract to design, implement, and maintain end-to-end data center solutions, including supply, installation, commissioning, and 24×7 operation. Key features of the project include:

Design and Implementation: Turnkey data center comprising DC racks, AC racks, and network racks, designed to meet TIA 942 Rated-3 standard.

Total Area Allocated: Approximately 16,000 sq. ft.

Cooling Efficiency: Utilization of 800W x 1600D chimney racks for efficient cooling.

Total IT Load: Approximately 2.4MW.

Electrical Work: Complete electrical setup, including both AC and DC power.

HVAC System: Chilled water solution for data center cooling, supported by four chillers each with a capacity of ~300Tr.

Power Distribution: Each rack is powered by an 8KW DC power supply, with all racks utilizing an air-insulated bus bar trunking system (BBT) for power distribution.

Radiation Protection: Anti-radiation coating is applied to the entire data center to prevent radiation leakage from the lab.
