Prasa Infocom & Power Solutions glad to announce that we are collaborating with Efkon India Pvt. Ltd., to install UPS systems in the Varanasi smart city Project taking place in Varanasi, India. The UPS systems are being installed to catering to CCTV surveillance units, power supply panels, and lightings on the roads of Varanasi Smart City. A total of 178 UPS systems are going to be installed by Prasa, where 165 UPS systems are of 2KVA capacity, and 13 of 6KVA capacity. The tender was floated by Efkon India Pvt. Ltd., and out of the prequalified bidders including the giants like Eaton and Numeric Power systems ltd., Prasa won the bid to supply and install UPS systems. Being an authorized business partner with Vertiv, we are installing vertiv UPS systems on the site.
Along with the UPS systems, Prasa is deploying Surge Suppression devices as well in the Varanasi Smart City Project, which acts as a spark gap arrester and provides surge protection in lighting systems. The project is to be implemented within the time period of 3 months, starting from November 2018 to January 2019.
